Chinese Military Hacked Ours

Problem: Apparently the Chinese military has been working very hard to figure out ways to hack into our DoD systems. As this article in the Financial Times reports, the Peoples Liberation Army (PLA) US “has demonstrated the ability to conduct attacks that disable our system…and the ability in a conflict situation to re-enter and disrupt on a very large scale”.

So I have two questions:

1) Why is the Chinese military doing this??

2) Who out there can help prevent this from happening again!?

Solution: Obviously the solutions for these types of top secret programs aren’t going to see the light of day.
